In urban life, where we work under the pressure of a high pace and are constantly catching up, we also return home and say:What will I cook tonight for everyone to love? Worrying about this can be quite tiresome. On the other hand, cooking for kids who don’t like what you do, who aren’t open to new tastes, but who, ironically, get bored of eating the same thing all the time, can often turn into a nightmare for parents. Before moving on to recipes kids will love, here are a few suggestions to help you in that regard:

Make room for surprises on your desk

How about setting a breakfast table of cheese, honey, eggs and cold cuts for dinner? We all know that children love surprises. You can add fruits and raw greens to make it more nutritious, as well as animal products to supplement your protein intake. Cover all the food and invite the kids into the kitchen to pique their curiosity. Lift the lid after you have made suggestions about what might be in the food. You can be sure that they will wipe everything off the table without even realizing that they are eating with such surprise and happiness.

Involve children in the cooking process

Children love to help adults and are much more willing to try foods prepared with their help. Touching and looking at ingredients while cooking can help your child become more aware of what they are eating and reduce their feelings of insecurity. Be sure to include your children in the food preparation process so that you can spend quality time together, develop their motor skills, and make sure they don’t choose food.

Don’t get caught without a presentation

Unfortunately, to get the attention of your children, you also need to be able to turn the food you cook into a work of art. No matter how delicious your food is, it won’t get as much attention as food served with a face, a flower, or a car, but it tastes a lot worse. Being creative with food presentations is one of the most important requirements of parents.

Let’s move on to recipes for kids! We have tried to identify these recipes in our list as much as possible according to the above criteria. We are sure that your kids will love each of them for their ease of preparation, the ability to involve children in the process and interesting presentations.

Good news: With a little creativity, a little cunning, and a little persuasion, you can make your kids’ meals so much more fun and easier. We’ve put together recipes for kids that we think your kids will love that we’ve prepared in line with these suggestions, and what you can do to get young kids accustomed to food and reduce their pickiness to a more manageable level.
