Apple Music is making great strides and adding a new feature to world-class lyrics that will allow listeners to easily sing along to tens of millions of songs.

Apple today announced an exciting new feature, Apple Music Sing, which allows users to sing along to their favorite songs with adjustable vocals and real-time lyrics. Apple Music Sing offers various types of lyrics that allow listeners to sing like a soloist, duet, sing along with backing vocals, and more. All of these features are integrated into the unique lyric experience that Apple Music offers. With a catalog that includes tens of millions of the world’s most popular songs and continues to grow every day, Apple Music Sing will go where and where everyone wants; It’s fun and easy to sing at home, on the road, alone or with friends.

Apple Music Sing will be available to Apple Music subscribers worldwide later this month. This experience will be available on iPhone, iPad and the new Apple TV 4K.

“Lyrics creation on Apple Music has always been one of the most popular features on our service.” Oliver Schusser, Apple VP of Apple Music and Beats, said: “We already know that our users around the world love to sing along to their favorite songs. That’s why we wanted to further improve this feature and increase the interaction with music through singing. Our customers will love this incredibly fun experience.”

Apple Music Sing has the following features:

  • Adjustable Vocals: Users can now control the vocal levels in a song. They can sing along with the original artist’s vocals, sing the song as a soloist, or both, according to their preferences in the millions of songs in the Apple Music catalog.
  • Lyrics in real time: Users can sing along to their favorite songs with even more precise timing. Apple Music brings the spoken part of the text to the forefront of the screen, as if the words are dancing to the rhythm of the vocals.
  • Backing vocal: Backing vocals played at the same time move independently of the main vocals to make it easier for users to follow.
  • Duo type: Multiple vocalists are displayed on both sides of the screen, making it easy to duet or sing along to tracks with multiple singers.

Apple Music will also have over 50 customizable companion playlists optimized for Apple Music Sing, covering all the legendary songs, duets, choruses and anthems that make listeners sing from all over the world.

Apple Music Sing will be available to Apple Music subscribers worldwide later this month. Apple Music Sing will also be available on all compatible iPhone and iPad models, as well as the new Apple TV 4K.
